Exeter Election Last Chance
On Nov. 5th Exeter township will have a chance to sever ties with the special interest groups that currently control it. One incumbent has received thousands in contributions from donors outside the community. Is it the recent sale of the sewer plant and the $93.5 million the community will receive shortly or the prospect of over $23 million in proposed new construction in the next three years that draws this outside interest? What ever that interest may be, it is not good for Exeter residents and we can take control of our community back on Nov. 5th by voting for Michelle Kircher, Greg Galtere and Joe Staub. They are mature, experienced, intelligent individuals who are deeply concerned with what has transpired in our community recently. This large cash infusion is a onetime opportunity that could benefit Exeter for decades. I have reviewed the spend, spend, spend plans the current board has adopted and within only a few years that money will be gone. When this happens, we can expect what I call the “Exeter tax timebomb” to explode and present great pressure to raise taxes significantly. Obviously, taxes will have to support the expanded infrastructure. I urge you to vote for Kircher, Galtere and Staub on Nov. 5th
What you do in one day (Nov. 5th vote) will affect your life for the next six years. Think carefully when you go to vote on November 5th.
